Even in the midst of the COVID-19 crisis, First Out Roofing is still available to repair your roof when you need it. We’re doing everything we can to give you the repairs you need while keeping everyone involved as safe as possible. The roofing industry is working hard to stay safe while performing repairs, but we’re also relying on our clients to do their part. Here’s what we’re doing to adhere to the CDC’s safety guidelines, and what you can do to help.
Satellite Imaging
Before we visit your home and repair your roof, we need to assess the damage. This helps us make a plan and give you an accurate quote. Instead of visiting your home before the repair date, we’ve been relying on satellite imaging to get an accurate look at your roof and the damage it’s suffered. Viewing your home with satellite technology helps us reduce the time we spend in your home. Spending less time around you and your family is better for your safety, as well as the safety of our staff and future clients.
Remote Communication
Instead of conferencing with you in person, we’re taking advantage of remote technology to get in touch with our clients. Phone calls, text messaging, and video chats are just some of the ways we’re communicating with our clients. Not only does this reduce the risk of contracting the virus, but give you the luxury of speaking with us from the comfort of your home!
Improved Safety Measures
When it’s time for our team of experienced roofers to visit your home, we’re prepared to keep everyone as safe as possible. Our team is equipped with face masks, gloves, and booties for every home visit. We’ll also keep 6 feet away from you as often as we can, and we’re avoiding shaking hands with our clients. We’ll make our meeting with you as brief as possible so we can get to the repairs. We’re doing everything we can, but we also need our clients to do their part. If you or someone in your home gets sick, please call and reschedule your repair. We know it’s an inconvenience, but waiting until everyone in your home is healthy is the best way to keep everybody safe, including our team and future clients.
Are Roofers Essential?
Depending on the state, the businesses considered essential can get a bit hazy. Surprisingly, roofing hasn’t been defined as an essential service by most states. Our services exist in a confusing grey-area. We’re still operating for now, but we’re hoping for some clarification. First Out Roofing will continue serving our community as long as we can.
